This project tasked me with creating an app model that would incorporate elements of the park within a simple navigation system for park patrons.
The Dinosaur National Monument is located right in the Grand Canyon, where many fossils were discovered. As such, I created the interface with the iconic rock-banding pattern in mind. The navigation would use these layers to help break up the hierarchy of information to make it easy and accessible.
Its simple yet intuitive design was created with the main patrons of the park in mind. Many patrons of the park navigate its vast 210,000 acre landscape for camping, biking, and other outdoor activities. As such, having access passes and mapping navigation at the touch of a button was paramount in this design.
